How to remove sticky residue: Got a sticky mess? No worries!! Just add MORE mess!! No, seriously! You can use peanut butter or mayo soaked for about an hour or, if that seems too gross, then try any regular cooking oil. For a stubborn sticky you can also use vodka (!!) or rubbing alcohol. BONUS TIP - Love walking your dog along the lovely Nova Scotian trails, but poor Fido gets sticky pine needles in his paw? Rub the area gently with olive oil! You can even keep a small jar in your car for emergency stickiness after a nice walk in the woods. Woof!!
How to remove coffee stains: Have a nasty stain on your clothes? Simply soak the material in a mix of a few drops of white vinegar with a cup of warm water for about 15-20 minutes and then blot any remaining stain residue. Then wash as usual and it should be good as new! You can also add a tiny teaspoon of dish liquid to the mix or use rubbing alcohol for extra tough stains.
How to get rid of offensive odours: Lingering smells caused by anything from smoking to pets can easily be eliminated by the miracle odour-eater known as VINEGAR! Simply place a bowl of vinegar in the effected area overnight and the odours will be gone by morning. Note that the area will smell of vinegar for a few hours, but then everything will be back to normal and smelling fresh again by the next day. Works great for pet hair smells in your car too! After cleaning the car as usual just leave a bowl in the vehicle overnight and you're good to go!
